Is This Thing On?

The last time I posted I was bitching about the heat and I'll be damned if I wasn't bitching about the heat again today. The last time it was this hot in October we got two feet of snow the weekend before Halloween and the city shut down for a week. My trick knee tells me this is likely to happen again.

I discovered two Nebraska law student blogs today via Ambimb. They are The Considerations, a threeway blog with a mix of 1L and 2L's, and Full Metal Attorney, a 2L with a love for metal and extremely in-depth analysis of Roe.

I guess I might have found out about these two blogs sooner if I actually read blogs (other than the 12 or so that are live bookmarked) anymore, or maybe if I spent anything more than the minimum required time at the law college. I'm in and out like a flash. I don't even use a locker. My car is my locker and my car is parked three blocks away on 44th Street.

This year I am spending very little time at school, and very little time reading blogs that aren't on my Kinja list/favorites that I just compulsively check all the time, and I have to say, I'm a happier person for it.

My blog reading has gone way down due to the untimely demise of my laptop. Even when I do read them I rarely comment anymore. I still check yours daily but I can't remember the last time I left a comment.

When I was in school we didn't have blogs. Well, we did, but no one knew about them, or at least I didn't. Sorry to hear about the laptop. I took a laptop with me to law/grad school (brand new) and four years later is was toast. For some reasons I still keep it and it still does remarkably turn on. My girlfriend's laptop lasted a little further. It died the day after she took and passed the California bar.

So anyway, what's it like at UNL law?

Bitching about the heat...where I come from you'd be shot for that...by me :). I'ts in the high 40s here and I'm d-y-i-n-g.
