Hoya Slapsa!: Use this form...

Many of you starting law school about this time might enjoy this little bit of humor from Hoya Slapsa! about all the paperwork you've recently been required to file with the various offices of your school. The post is specifically geared toward Georgetown Law, but I saw much the same thing at my own school and I imagine the experience it mocks is a common one. [via the Scoplaw]

Good lords. I pity you people. Thus far I've had to file only a few forms with my law school (in Australia). In fact, most times I hardly ever see the friendly people at the administration except when I'm volunteering to meet prospective students and need to chat with the guys at admissions/admin over that. :-)

Ah, the blessings of no paperwork: I think the Faculty of Arts gave me more paperwork than law school: permission to enrol in advance courses forms, departmental leave to spend a summer studying Mandarin in China, cross-institutional permission forms, departmental credit approval forms, departmental "can I please have another bowl of porridge" forms... :-)
